The Firedrake is an extra hot mini humbucker.
Rather than using a ceramic magnet it uses Alnico 8. This gives it a degree of warmth and sweetness without needing to be wound so that it becomes dark and bass heavy with limited definition. Fortunately it doesn't lose out on aggression and it has more than enough volume to drive an amp hard if that's what you need.
